Oregon Carb Kits OK?

Are Oregon carb rebuild kits okay? I know Oregon makes lots of good stuff, but I just found out about the carb kits. Way cheaper than OEM.

Yes the work pretty ok. Better than a lot of the cheap eBay/Amazon ones. The cheap ones sometimes don’t fit quite right or have the wrong sized Welch plugs for example. I have used the cheap eBay ones from time to time with modest success.

I wonder if I could drill a hole in the case and install an air purge bulb.

You have come far in the last two weeks?? Yes you should be fine with Oregon??

I’ve used/sold a lot of them over the last few years and so far haven’t had any issues with them.
