I should warn you the 357xp saw that the top cover came from was possessed.
Now the top cover never gave me any problems but the saw sure did. Several times it would backfire when starting then run backwards.
Just thought you should know, keep a mojo handy and you'll will be good to go!

I know a few years ago there were some 365's that were fakes, they all had the same serial number on them.
Or is this sawput together with those import parts you see on ebay?
If any of you have a Poulan Sprit of America 1976 saw that they would like to part with? PM me and bring the saw to The Cutting Edge GTG. While I can't trade any of my saws, I do have $$ to trade with.
My local Stihl tech did this mod to his 2166 saw and said he could not feel the difference.
So I thought that I'd go old school with a 75cc p/c swap. Got the parts and a 2166 nib but stalled on the project for now.
For a small saw running a 16", 325 chain you can not beat the 550xp. The way the saw runs flatout fast with the autotune is what I like. I don't have a 353 but I have three 2153's and the 550xp is the saw that I grab first.
