Another purchase - stihl 036 QS

Picked up a knackered 036 QS for £20 with low compression. Piston and cylinder are scored and no wet and dry will fix it. No bar and chain but I've got plenty of those laying around.

do you still have the 036QS? I got the same saw completely disasembled because of a broken crankshaft.
I am searching for a used crankshaft for half a year now, but no luck. Do you sell yours?

I still have it, the top end went again so I was waiting to rebuild it. The crank is intact, not fancying going for a aftermarket one?

quickstop uses all different brake components from the standard model, be careful buying one without the fully functional brake, it wont run without it and it will cost more than a used saw to get parts to fix it, some of which are NLA

All the aftermarket crankshafts dont fit. The part number of mine is 1125 030 0403
And this one is different to the normal crankshafts for 036 which have the number 1125 030 0407.

I hope someone got one for sale

Yes I see it now.. 2 different crankcases.
