Chainsaw Gunning Sights...

Watching some videos on a cold, raw day...grabbed this screen capture because I thought it was a pretty clear photo of a "gunning sight" molded into a saw in use.

Though if that was firewood he was cutting, most of us would just need to cut one tree in our lifetime.

Once I learned about them, it definitely helped improve my technique.

I never understood why those lines were molded into the plastics until someone here brought it up. Definitely an evolutionary moment in my technique.
