OK...... so i have a small set of skidding tongs, but ever since we got a bigger strove, they don't open wide enough to use on 20" wood. So i need to move some big rounds........ what to do, what to do? Poking around, i find some chain, J hooks, and a couple rings. Some work with the grinder to sharpen the ends. Voila ! No scissor action, but the weight of the rounds is plenty to keep them planted. I'm almost surprised they work so well...... seeing as I made 'em.
