Once done with the BFH(although I usually have one more letter in there) one way or another special tools ain't needed. If a hammer doesn't work, get a bigger hammer. If a bigger hammer doesn't work, get a hot wrench! Hu

jughead500 Sasquatch Joined Nov 24, 2011 Messages 5,191 Reaction score 4,519 Location Tennessee Feb 9, 2014 #6 Usually Cranks on the 024,026 and 028's I lightly tap apart with my Hard Plastic mallet.With no metal in the hammer your not going to mess up the ends of the crank and the metal is harder than the plastic so it's not going to throw it off.
