I have a clayton 1802G wood furnace. It is hooked up to the ductwork in my house. I use the fans on the wood furnace to move the air and it is also hooked up to the cold air return. My propane furnace and the wood furnace share the cold air return as well as the supply ducts. The fans on the wood furnace come on when the limit switch tells them to. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what kind of humidifier I should put on this system?

Get a cooking pot that won't rust fill with water an put it at the back of the furnace near the chimney . Done this for many years,a humidifier always has a bad smell .
