Found this 757 in a pawn shop when I picked up a Mac 10-10 before Christmas. Went back in mid January and it was still there and he had come down a bit on price. I had some time on Monday and he quoted a price I thought was reasonable for a 75 cc saw. Starts and runs well, looks like a couple of the muffler bolts are missing but other than that it appears ready to go.

Have a couple of others I need to check on at another shop, with it snowing I may wait until Monday.

That's a strange looking saw, but it appears to be in very good shape. Kinda looks like it has a radio stuck on the back!

That's the factory equipped HD air filter setup. It is probably one of the finest OEM filter setups I've ever seen. It has a big automotive style cylindrical folded paper filter with a foam prefilter. I don't think I've ever seen a 757 without it. I know it is an option on some of the smaller saws.

I'll bet that would work really well. Still kinda looks like a radio though - you got your tuning knob and your volume knob!

I love the 757's.. Mine has been down and in need of a top end for a couple years now. Never did source a good one. I actually prefer them to the 7900 dolmars. The dolmars are a little faster but the shinnys are just tough as nails.

Hmm Randy are you saying the shinnys are like a fezz :) You just don't like em cause they're homelite red not mac yellow :poke:
