Thats cool I just got a little saw for the wife and oldest boy to run if needed.
I didn't know that they offered the XL2 in Gurple! Looks nice! How long to do that one? Did you put new decals on it?

Mine isn't much into the wood except when it's time to burn it. The other day she brought me a cup of coffee while I was adding to the wood pile and when she picked up a piece, I thought maybe she was going to help. After stacking the one and only she was through.

PM me your e-mail address (one that only you check ;)) and I will send you teh very best ever chainsaw chick pic

Ok guys, I'm tired of e-mailin the pic to all y'alls so quite PMing me now! I'm sure lots of you have seen it - its the one with a whole bunch of naked women cutting with Husqvarna saws. Looks like it was European Husky ad from the 80's. It was posted here at one point and resulted in banned camp.

Lol... my wife, bless her heart, doesn't want a single thing to do with the firewood (unless it's burning in the fireplace) but she sure can tell me how I'm stacking it wrong and why the one pile fell over. She said it would stay up better if I had all the wood going the same way and not crossed like I do on the ends of the pile. :dizzy:

I said, "Really, I never thought of that, maybe you'll just have to show me how to stack the wood when I split more."

Her response, "Ok, but I'm only stacking enough to show you how to do it right."

So when she stacks it, and it falls over on the end, I'm going to force her to at least re-stack the mess she made. That'll probably be the only time I ever get some help from her, but I'll take what I can get.

The purple (or gurple) saw is a Homey Super 2...It actually has more "designs" on it now...attached. The wife felt like giving it a facelift. All I said was "Its your saw, have fun", and this is how it came out...

My wife helps with the wood hauling/handling, but I'm alot safer if she can't crank or run a saw(or shoot proficiently).

Love it...

I love the saw especially the 1st pic that displays the "dangerous end"!!! That's one girl with a sence of humor! I'm kind of glad that mine only helps with the burning end of wood cutting, it gives me well needed time away and alone, she's great but I still need time away. Glad that she likes to help you out and glad that she's safety minded LOL!!!

Man are you lucky, my warden has a canary eating grin as she slides her kitchen knives across the diamond hone and knife steel. Lately she has been at the batting cage and doesnt play baseball. OH :censored:!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you need to sleep with one eye open or something might get you.

I got a good one she is a great wife, mother and a great cook, can work trees better than some men I've worked with. She saws, runs the splitter, drags brush, helps haul and stack wood. Drives the tractor for skidding, drives the dump truck and dumps wood everywhere. She loves to mow so I bought her a 24 hp. John Deere tractor to do it with and she weedeats also. I play with saws while she plays in the yard.

She also shoots better than me with a rifle and a handgun of which she has a few. She fishes with me at the coast and loves to 4x4 in mud, snow, or sand so I got a keeper. And for ya'll ask yes she's got 3 sisters a only one of them works like mine does.

Ya'll have a good day now if you want to and I'll try to get that boy of mine to post some pics of mom helping us out.
