Left over fertilizer
I have about 60 .lbs of triple 12 fertilizer left over from this summers yard work and was wondering if it would be at all beneficial to sprinkle a good dose of it around my trees in the yard. Most of the trees are small. 5 to 7 foot tall and a few very young red cedars. (1 foot tall just transplanted this year). I just want to get rid of the stuff because I know by spring it will be ruined. I even thought about putting it ALL on my garden which is about 15' by 30'. I know that would be way overkill but I figured by spring it would be well diluted. Anybody have any good suggestions as to what to do with this stuff?

I have no idea about using it around trees. If you can keep it dry it will last through the winter easy. If you can't just spread it on your lawn.
