FAST-TACH or TECH-TACH ?

I placed an Internet order for a FAST-TACH to use on my chainsaws but just received a TECH-TACH TT-20K.

My original decision as to which one of the two was a close, but it seemed from comments here on AS that the FAST-TACH was a little more elegant for using on chainsaws. I know I'm probably splitting hairs here, but should I keep the TT-20K or or ask for the FAST-TACH? (I don't own any other tachometer.)

Dunno, but if it was me I'd be asking the vendor why he sent me something I didn't even order.

Got me a techy tachy. Works just fine. Never used the fasty tachy though. I doubt the difference is worth a discussion over 100 pages long - but this is AS, so anything is possible.....

I agree, and I have confidence that the vendor will send me what I want without hassle. The problem is that I'm attempting to find out if what I already have is what I "want." :laugh:

EDIT: I just realized that last sentence is probably a result of watching too many chick flicks with the girlfriend. :blush:

What you have, has provisions for external leads. The other does not. I have no nead for the leads, so prefer the smaller Fast Tach.

i have the TT. it works fine. i have never taken the leads out of the wrapper. i also has the rubberized case that i like a lot.

i'm pretty sure it does come with leads, that was the deciding factor for me to get the tech tach. but i've been wrong before...

The Fast-Tach does not come with leads.

Was this purchased from us? If so, I'm sorry for the mixup and we can certainly make it right if you so wish. If not, well nevermind then
