Work Saw Specialist
Here's a saw I picked up a couple of years ago. It was locked up and rough looking........I think I gave 35.00 for it. Thanks to several members here we got it running and even found a NOS .404 28" bar for it. DSS sent me some bits that I needed all the way from Canada!!!!
Here's what it looked like with the new bar.
Sorta rough looking ain't it? The good thing is that it runs like a new saw.
I built a Stihl 041 Super for AS member Glock37 and he and I have since become good friends. The powder coating that was done on his saw was perfect and I have been wanting to do this Pioneer ever since.
Here's a shot of his Stihl.....
He had just done the case and rear handle at this point........he has since done the whole saw. It would be nice to see the completed project...hint...hint.
Anyhow, we were asked by another member to do a Husqvarna 2100 so we tore that saw and the old Pioneer down and sent them to Mike for powder coating.
The 2100 is back together and we are testing it before port work....here's a shot of it.
Watch for a thread on this build......I'll post it when the saw is completed.
