The pixel bars are made for nk chain like the 95vp or the 20 nk chain that woodland pro sells. The pixel bars have a symbol on them to indicate they are pixel bars. On the 350 or 346 you can use nk chain or the regular kerf .325 chain like 20lpx on a pixel bar. On the new saws like the 545/550, the pixel bars won't work with 20lpx chains.

Those Husky 18" 325 050 bars are HLN250-72 like you said they work with narrow kerf or standard Oregon 325 20LPX chain. These bars balance well on my 357 xp with 20LPX chain, and make for a lighter wt saw to toot around. Same combo in 16" works well on the 346 size saws.

Why is it these bar and 20LPX chain combo dont work on the newer saws ?

I have read on AS and other sites that the newer models bind up when you try to run the regular kerf chains with the pixel or nk bars. I have not tried it my self.

Yea I use a pixel bar w/ my 346 and it works out great. Id love to get a hold off a bunch of 18" narrow kerf bars... and chain.. for reasonable prices.
