I have a non running Partner 500 I would like to get rid of. I have had it for a few years and it had been sitting probably 5 years with gas in it before I bought it. I did get the saw out and clean it up and to see what was missing. Overall it is in pretty good shape. It is missing the chain brake, from what I could find, the chain brake may have been an available option at least on older saws. This one appears to have had the chain brake at one time but I’m not certain. The connector for the kill switch has broken of as well. I’m guess that is way the saw was put on the shelf. It looks like an easy fix. The only other issue I see with the saw is the Anti-vibration bushing the handle mounts to on the side of the jug has split. The previous owner zip tied it back together.
