So I scored a free Stihl 021 off my old man. Bad news was that it had been sitting in a shed for 5 years. So I checked the tank and it still had old gas in it. So anyways I drained it out and refilled with fresh gas. Of course it wouldn't start. So I took off the air filter and dumped a little gas into the carb. Sure enough it started right up, but soon died out. I took a can of PB Blaster and filled the carb up. I let it sit for about 5 minutes and then drained it out. I refilled the carb with mixed gas and then dumped it out. I pulled the cord and whalla, the thing ran perfect. I was really impressed with how easy that was. Soooooooo introducing my first Stihl...... the 021!!!!!
If there is anything I should know about these little saws, please share it with me. It seems to cut really well on the small stuff, and it is super light. I like it!!
