I have 084, I want to sell. I bought this saw about a year & 1/2 ago, from a local firewood seller I know. He retired it 9 or 10 years ago, when he bought a new 880. He drained the gas and sat it on a shelf in his shop, until I came along talked him out of it.

I poured some mix in it, saw fired right up. It runs, idles, oils, brake works, I pulled the covers and cleaned it up some. I was going to pull the gas tank, give it a deep cleaning, and go through the rubber components (AV buffers, gas, impulse line, carb kit, etc) but she has just ended up sitting around, too many irons in the fire. Want to find a good home for it.

Few things I noticed while cleaning it, one of the lower muffler screws has been tapped to a larger size, the other is stripped. Muffler looks good, no cracks that I saw. Small hairline crack in the air filter cover, and the guy I bought it from engraved his name on the recoil, and top cylinder cover. (see pics) Piston looks good, but does have some carbon marks on it.

Price $800, plus shipping FedEx ground.

Piston pic's, you can still see some of the machine marks, also appears to have some carbon streaking on the lower part. Also two close up pic's of his name engraved in the cylinder cover, and recoil.

Open to offers on this, if anyone is interested shoot me a PM.

This is a early model 084, that had M5 muffler screws, unlike the later 084's that had M6 muffler screws, so tapping the stripped lower muffler screw out to a M6 will not be a big deal.
