A friends 261 last repaired under warranty in 2000 was dead by 2004 from a burned P&C. After 10 years on the junk shelf I am fixing this 261 to earn the spare 272XP he also had. He's still paying for the parts to upgrade the dead 261 to a 262xp. This shows the results of sloppy work. Gasket was probably broken while "shoving " the manifold through the air dam wall. The plastic manifold was actually damaged(deformed) where the gasket was missing from being over tightened and will also have to be replaced.
