A friend of mine went to the "dump" and was throwing his household trash into the compactor when he saw this old beast laying on top of the pile of trash bags. Knowing i had a interest in such things he reached in and pulled it out only a few minutes before the worker ran the compactor. Saving it from doom.
The next day at work he made me the offer of buying him lunch in trade for this saw.So for around 10 bucks and a well deserved Thank you i am now the new owner. All i have done was take off the bar/chain so it would take up less space in my shop and pull the plug and check to see if it was seized up. It was Not but i don't think it generated a spark.
I have owned it for a couple of years now and while searching online for a bar/chain for my old blue Homelite Super XL i found this site and thought i would snap a few photos and share them here along with all the other interesting photos that have been shared.
Thank you.
