It was good and bad.
I started milling two Sycamore logs by chainsaw milling them down to size for my Woodmizer LT-15. Did not even finish the first cut before my Husqvarna 394 scored the piston and gave up. :( A quick search of Craigslist found a replacement. By the next morning I was ready to go with a Stihl MS-066 on the Granberg Mark III.

After chainsaw milling the logs down to size, we hauled the logs over to the bandsaw mill and started slabbing. These slabs are destined to be heavy bench seats and backs for my chainsaw carving business... All total, we stacked 31 slabs for air drying. Each was 2" x 22" x 69-75" for over 650 bdf. Short daylight hours and old backs made for a 2 day project.

Sycamore slabs with fresh color. The stack beyond these was sawn the day before and there is a stack of dried slabs hidden behind that one.

A couple of nearly clear slabs.

Slabs are also used for wall hanging carvings and totem wings.

Twoclones,

Don't know if it's me, but your images aren't showing up.

Did you click the link? Even in your quote the links work for me.

I even tried opening it in a new window and only got this message.

Maybe try just re-posting the images, as suggested to see if they are password protected. We gotta see those pictures.

Trying to post the photos again.

First time I used the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" option. Unchecking that option this time.
