Dozer Dan built some the meanest 346’s out there and had great service.....until he quit communicating and had a collection of other peoples saws.

You’re doing it wrong. You gotta cut cookies and tear it down every 5 cuts and then report on how well your magic oil is working and how bad Stihl oil is.

Take what you read in oil threads with a grain of salt. Lots of assumptions, opinions, guesstimates, and BS. There is over 1000 pages between 2 forums and they’re still chasing their tail.

We have yellow semi chisel without the lump next to the raker. He has PM.

The last pic says its semi chisel. The corner looks like ? Where full chisel looks like 7. I have a few loops of PM myself.

For me the 261 was an easy choice, weight wasn’t a issue. Hell, i sold a like new Dolmar 421 to buy it.

I just had to lengthen the adjuster hole toward the tip so i could slide the bar back some to make up the DL difference. Echo is 45 DL and Stihl is 44. It took about 5 minutes with a Dremel If you take out a DL it will fit right on.

Vxl likes to chatter. I put .043 stihl bar and chain on mine. The smaller chain really helps it.

Any interest in a Jonsered 2260? Its the small mount version of the 562xp. I have one in excellent condition i'm gonna let go.
