Hi all
New to this site. Looks like a wealth of usefull information. I have a Woodmaster 4400. This will be the third season of use and I love the fact I burn no LP from now till April except for the oven and clothes dryer. I have the years wood supply cut, split, and stacked ready to go. I was wondering how many cords I have though. Don't really know how to figure this. I have 8 rows in a lean-to. The rows are 8.5 feet long by 8 feet high. 5 rows under tarp that are 13 feet long by 7 feet high. 3 rows in the open that are 10 feet long by 7 feet high. My average cut length is about 20 - 22 inches. Anyone help me with about how many cords I have. About 95% is red oak with the remainder being soft maple that I will burn first. I'll try to include a few pictures of my setup and wood supply.

21inches(average log length) = 1.75 feet.
8x8.5=68x1.75=119cubic feet of wood x 8rows=952 Lean-to
13x7=91x1.75=159.25cubic feet of wood x 5rows=796.25 tarp
3x10=70x1.75=122.5cubic feet of wood x 3rows=367.5 open
952+796.25+367.5=2116 cubic feet of wood
2116/128=16.529 cord of wood

Welcome

This site is kinda fun if you like cutting wood, burning etc. And as far as your wood well 1 cord = 128 cu. ft. You have plenty for the winter. Nice feeling isn't it? Get started on next years in case you break a leg or something. And don't get addicted to this site like the rest of us weirdo's. (Should just speak for myself but I know there are bunch like me).

Welcome to AS, and what a nice pile of split drying/dried wood for your OWB, I'll bet it burns with narry a lick of smoke. :clap:
What kind of space(s) are you heating with it?
Would like to hear about your usage after going through the effort of splitting/stacking.

Thanks foe the welcome and answers guys. This wood supply was a lot of loads with my Ranger pickup. I do have a few loads of walnut that still need to be hauled to the stack. That's about all the cutting that will be done this season as I'll be spending a lot of time in sitting in the trees bowhunting.
I use the Woodmaster to heat the house through the forced air furnace and use a heat exchanger for the hot water heater. The OWB is 165' from the house and a huge improvement from when I had a woodburner indoors. I'm really happy with the system.
I own 75 acres of timber here that is in the process of having a lot of red oak harvested so I'll never have a shortage of wood without ever needing to leave the property. I consider myself very lucky.:)
