Up for sale is my 1994 Husqvarna 262xp. Legendary saw put away for the last 27 years. Brand new, never gassed. condition. Still has the little plastic tag holder hanging on the saw. Saw is in NJ and I can ship in the continental usa for a fair price. $1100

So I just bout this single owner 262xp. Super nice 91 model. So a couple of things. 1- it’s missing a muffler bracket bolt and is leaking bar oil out of it. Not sure it’s the threads are shot? If so can I just drill it out and tap it to a 6mm rather than 5mm. Or do I need a helecoil? 2-...

This saw has me baffled. Rebuilt carb, new fuel line/filter. Ran two tanks flawlessly. All of a sudden loads up and dies. Take carb apart, check lever clean everything, put it back together. Starts perfect runs for a minute revs/idles then starts to load up again! Had carb off 3 times adjusted...
