So my buddy smoked this saw originally by running straight gas in it (like a dummy) and blew up the crank bearings and part of the bottom of the piston. He got a quote for a repair and which made him *pucker*, so then he just gave it to me because I love tearing things apart. So I pulled it...

I think many people have had this problem, they've managed to fix it by replacing the purge bulb or replacing spark plug fuel line, fuel filter, I've done all the above and even replace the carburetor, still the saw will not rev up. I think I might have narrowed it down to the manifold gasket...
