Hello Everyone,
I have a strange issue with a 435. It will start and run fine, after some time idling it will bog and die as soon as you hit the throttle. It will fire right back up after and run again, revs fine, then again, after some time idling it will bog and die when you go to rev it...
Hello good folks! I just got a Pioneer P52 chainsaw that was quoted to be running just two weeks ago and now it has no spark. I have tried everything known to try and still get nothing out of it.
I am currently baking the coil but I would like to find a spare even if I can get this one...
Hey everybody, So i know this topic has been covered many times on this site but i’m yet to find a concrete answer for my issue in specific. I bought a 064 with a coil but no flywheel. I have a CDIC-A coil model number 1122 400 1307 I believe. I just can’t figure out which flywheel i should be...
I believe my 028 wood boss needs a coil. But I dont wanna pay the $156 for a new one. Anyone have a good used one they wanna sell? Or info on where I can get a cheaper one? Thanks in advance
So I've been looking hard for a replacement coil for one of my old trusty Jonny 49SP's, and the only one I could find was on eBay of course. The listing was for a recoil starter cover with coil, for a 49sp. The Seller said the coil was good, and I figured even if it wasn't, for the price ($35) I...
I have a Poulan Pro Model PP4218AVX that I put a new Carburetor, fuel lines, in tank filter, & primer bulb on a few months back, and once I got it(carb) set, the saw has cranked and ran fine, but it never fails that after about 15 to 20 minutes of use, it starts to act like it is running out of...
ok, here we go;
I’ve searched thru and read a bunch about the ignition coil, mtronic carb reset, etc. here’s what I did...
1) New wiring harness from coil to carb servo connection- old one had two yellow & red wires cut. New Wires look good.
2) gapped flywheel with a business card...made sure...
Hello all, new user to the site, have lurked some forums. What a great place. Lots of helpful advice and tips. Little back ground. Husqvarna 254 professional serial number 8180663, I seem to have a dead coil. Saw is ancient but I love it. It rips! Compression check 130 psi cold 145ish...
Hi all at AS.
Is this from an 056?
Condition unknown but the coil reads 2k so assume that part is good.
Is it worth anything, located in Aust.
Cheers in advance Chris.
Sorry if this has been covered already. I have a 028 with the SEM coil and I believe the coil is bad. I ordered the 000-400-1300 which should work from what I've read on here. Do I need to turn the flywheel to the Bosch keyway or leave it on SEM?
hi all,
Long shot, chasing an SEM ignition coil (IPL doesn’t appear to have a part number sorry) for a stihl 048 saw
Currently have one, dies when it warms up and having had a few 056’s in the past with sem ignitions I’m guessing it’s the same problem
I’m in Australia but happy to pay...
Good Day,
I am trying to get my grandfathers Old McCulloch running and there is no spark. Would like to get points, condenser and coil and Terminal assembly if possible.
Or if someone has been able to substitute an electronic ignition on this old beast I would appreciate knowing what...
Got a freebie Homelite Super XL Automatic (not Ol' Blue). It's a beauty. Sort of. I'm converting it from points/condenser to either Atom or Kawasaki/Rotary electronic module as the points are badly corroded and won't separate off the lobe on the shaft. I put the flywheel back on and noticed...
I'm hoping some of the regulars here can help me out on this. I have searched the forums, and found some good info, but not the exact thing I'm questioning.
I purchased a MS250 from a flea market, which turned out to be a MS210C. The saw had been run without chain lubricant for quite some...
Hi all,has anybody had success drilling and threading a case for coil mount?Working on an 064 that will only accept 11224001300 coil.Have another 064 that will accept both types of coils (2 mounts close together). It is fitted with 11224001300 coil. But I can fit different coils if this one...
Hi forum!
So I figured I'd try to get my dad's old saw running again. No spark. A little googling turned up "blue Prestolite coil of death", and suggested baking the coil in an oven. That actually worked... for about a minute. A longer bake (24hrs @ 115C) and it worked for 10 minutes. Long...
