I beg your forgiveness for starting another 660 build thread. I bought this box of parts during the members sale since it was so discounted. I really don't need another saw, Already have a couple 361s I am using to test various modification on. But you know how it is, CAD strikes where it will...
Hi ya all. Been reading for quite a while, decided to join and post.
I bought a MS361 kit and a couple extra cylinder kits to try my hand at porting and modding without spending Stihl dollars. All just for the fun of it! I'm on about my fourth iteration of top end builds, and I gotta say I love...
Guys, if you been wanting a new small saw they just released this kit for 55$. Hard to believe! Shipping to me on the east coast of the US is $62.89. $118 even. So you get to have a little fun.
Thats two kits in a month...
I have been wanting a pole saw and a dedicated bush cutter so I got this to use one way or the other. I got it unsure of the handle mount since the huztl.net website does not show that aspect. So I decided I would sort all that out once I got it in my hands on it. It is a very well made 2 cycle...
I found this color that is an exact match for the orange. I ordered it of course with hope and after it arrived at the dealer/ace we took it to the stihl dept and it is an exact color match. It looks to be a dual coat for plastic. The almost grays did not get it for me, this stihl gray was shown...
Just look at that clutch

I am going to go ahead and start this thread. The kits are expected to be ready no later than 1st part of May and then a little...
I got this a few days ago and today did an unboxing video, what's in the box. The camera will give you a really good look at each part. Right now you can save a bunch of money on shipping as it is included.
I have a MS660 that I built from a Huztl kit but I want a 070 to be it's permanent...
First off they are making a drill attachment for the chain saw. That really would come in handy anytime you don't have access to electricity, or like putting up fence for example. There is a winch that can be coupled with a saw that might be interesting what do you think?
On the Husky...
The build, been a while since I had messed with these, but for some reason there was an interest so I scrounged up the parts along with a piece or two I had to buy. Yet another iteration of those MS660 aftermarket builds. HAVE to say BOTH the Hyway and Cross just eat up an as delivered 54mm from...
Hot dignity dog they got the 038 ready to go. And its a little cheaper than the 440. I was completing an order for some MS660 parts to complete a saw for an engine I just built and this slapped me in my face, guess that will wait a while. Got one. $248.89...
