    Fiberglass boom question about knicks in boom

    My boom has some gouges and knicks that go into the surface of the fiberglass on the upper boom. From chainsaws rubbing on them and branches. Is this something that may cause an issue or can I just cover with new gel coat.

    I am looking for someone who repairs fiberglass booms, like WacoBoom that is used on Kershaw and Jarraff trimmers. Does anyone have a contact? Thanks
