I need help guys and not sure if it even worth time and money. I have this amazingly beautiful sweet gum tree that has to be 100+ years old. It has fungus, rot at base and bore holes in it. Can it be saved? How can I personally treat it? I’m really wanting to save this beautiful thing!
I have 2 young oak trees planted 2 years ago. I was told this year Oak wilt is in the area. Looking at my trees today, both Red Oak and Pin Oak show leaf changes. I am curious if this is what oak wilt looks like or another problem or just normal for time of year. If there is a treatment...
I have an eastern redbud planted 3.5 years ago. Tree seems to be doing great but I just noticed what looks like fungus in one of its crevices. Any idea what this is and, if so, what actions should I take to ensure the tree stays healthy?
Hello pros,
I have a tree in the backyard which is developing holes and dark bark, please see images below. I think it's fungus but don't know what type. Would you please give some suggestion? And how to treat it?
Thank you very much.

We've noticed that a tree fungus of some sort has been growing around an old Hackberry Tree where an old lightning rod cable had eventually grown into the trunk of the tree. We've since gotten new cabling placed on the tree to avoid strikes.
It's been present at the location about 3 months at...
Last year our Apple Tree got complete fire blight, every leaf died and about 20% grew back after the initial die off. Earlier this spring I treated the Apple Tree with 10 ct. OTC (Oxytetracyline) Tree Tech, Microinjection Antibiotic, 10 mL. The apple tree leaves are full and lush and look...
I had a pruning job for a customer with a Maple and several of the branches in the middle of the canopy had fungus on them that appears to cover the bark like I normally associate with dead branches that are well decaying, but these branches were all alive and the final few feet of most of them...
Hey all-
So I have quite a few trees in need of macro trunk injections but only have enough kits to do two at a time. Some days injections take longer than others but I’m always still waiting for one to finish before I can start the next. The prices on the kits that I have and the number of...
I have inherited a badly diseased tree in the last month. I'm looking to identify the issues and cure the disease. If the disease is not curable I will be taking the tree down myself with rigging equipment.

My lemon tree is having a hard time.
When I moved in, the tree had a problem with fungus. Some of the lemons grow with white mold visible on them, others get moldy and die while on the tree. I decided to pursue "leave it alone" treatment since I know little about trees. Things were ok for more...
Last year at this time I planted 4 Colorado Spruce trees. Within the past 9 months one of them has steadily lost needles from the bottom up. I took a sample in to the local nursery where they looked under a microscope to find fungus. I don’t know for sure but I suspect Rhizosphaera. Shortly...
