What is the best cleaning agent to use while switching between trees? Today we had a customer ask us if we could sanitize our chainsaws from tree to tree. We’ve been in business over 20 years and this is the first time we’ve been asked this to do on site per tree there’s about 20 trees on the...

I’m a bit confused about notches

What notch do you use in what scenario? I personally cut a traditional notch most of the time because it’s easiest to me. I have heard that humboldt notch is better and an openface is also good if you don’t want the hinge to pop loose but I don’t know how many different notches exist and I also...

As a newb, I’m insanely confused with all of the “oil” options out there. I have a Husky 440. As for fuel, I’ve been using a store bought pre-mix (I’m ordering Husky brand pre-mix just to be safe). I recently bought Husky brand bar and chain oil. HOWEVER, the small print on the back scared...

    Chainsaw issues

I've recently been having issues with my chainsaw, it seems to flood after a couple of tugs with fuel coming out the muffler, but when it does start it can't go full throttle it just bogs down, it can idle fine but after a bit it cuts out. It has full tank and fine spark.
