This saw was given to me by a neighbor whose father from the pacific northwest was getting another saw. I have used it lightly and the prior owner used it lightly.
It is as clean as a whistle as I have cleaned the engine, housing, gas/oil tank, and clutch cover. The spark arrestor was clean...
I have a real nice 262xp I’m going to sell. Saw runs strong and starts easy. Comes with 20” bar and chain. I’m the second owner. Few small blemishes on the plastic. Good clutch, good compression and good spark. Just down sizing the herd. 385$ shipped to lower 48.
Decided it's time for a dream saw. My big old 900evl (great saw from one of the guys on the forum :) has decided it needs a new piston.
Let me know what you have guys, thanks!
I think many people have had this problem, they've managed to fix it by replacing the purge bulb or replacing spark plug fuel line, fuel filter, I've done all the above and even replace the carburetor, still the saw will not rev up. I think I might have narrowed it down to the manifold gasket...
Looking to start chainsaw milling. This will be a hobby, nothing serious. I am experienced with a chainsaw, but I have never used/needed anything big. Based on my research I’m looking for a Husqvarna 394/395xp, Stihl 660 Magnum, or any other 90+ CC saws. New is out of the budget so let me know...
100cc, Good shape, cylinder is as clean as it gets. Only negative is its missing the data plate. Asking $650 pho, saw is in nj but can ship reasonably.
I have a husqvarna 365, bought new this year. I have been milling slabs with it using an oregon 28" bar, trying various brand ripping chains. I have some great timber that is too big for the 28" setup (max cut width ~23"). Will my 365 be able to run a 32" bar and chain (max cut ~26-27") with...
I'll be buying the Husky 395xp. The best deal I have found is $1,099.00 from American Pride Power Equipment. That is brand new, and it doesn't specify a bar length.
Is there a better deal out there? It doesn't necessarily need to be brand new, but something close to it that doesn't need any...
I’m sure this has been discussed, but I’m new and can’t find answers and would like some help. Does anyone know of any reputable businesses that will port an older saw? It’s time to rebuild my 288XP, so I’d like to have it ported also. Not interested in buying a new saw. Any suggestions? Thanks...
