I don't own either of these types of saws but I was curious as to how the plugs look on these saws since they are supposed to be running on the verge of too lean. Pics would be great if anybody has some.
I know that running a 2cycle too lean it can overheat and lose compression. What ultimately gets damaged from the overheat? Rings wear out, cylinder get's scored, piston messed up? On 4 cycle it seems that its the valves that go first.
Hi all at AS.If a saw had a vac leak (not that any of mine have) would one of the first checks be to screw the idle screw right out.If the saw doesnt stop or keep high revs this could be a vac leak right?
I know other problems can cause this but just applying this to vac leaks.
