I want to purchase this 201TC off of someone and I am having trouble determining if the saw is m tronic or not.
1- Did Stihl make regular carb version of the 201T?
2- Serial number in pics appear to be either : 184 888 040 or 184 888 010 (pretty sure it's this one). Can someone decode it?
3- On...
Been trying to work on my MS200T recently, noticed that the chain cover doesn't sit flush to the body of the saw. Can't see anything blatantly blocking it, so I'm not sure what the issue is, whether it's warped or if there's a piece missing somewhere. Any ideas?
Just got my hands on a MS200T, claimed to be not running but a quick carb change and it runs perfectly fine, problem is that when I try to turn it off, nothing happens. I've clearly made a rookie mistake and linked up something incorrectly in the carb, just not sure what. I'm watching vids of...
For Sale all original Stihl MS200T, no chinese parts on this one. Light use, includes bar and chain runs great. Saw is in NJ or can ship reasonably. Asking $600
Ok so this is my first post ever fwiw. However, I’ve read a ton of posts and have learned a lot from you guys. And for that I’m thankful.
Now on to the meat and potatoes.
So I have this 200t that will not idle whatsoever. It also has extremely slow throttle response.
I’ve replaced the fuel...
I am kicking this off with one video while I wait on the few parts I ordered to arrive. The control handle. Was a great puzzle. To attach the handle bar one screw goes under the switch shaft. The handle seems to be high quality, of course I don't have it attached yet. So it will be a bit before...
I am posting this here so you can get a good look at the parts included in the kit. I briefly had a 020 topper. The video is clear enough on a good desktop for you to see the parts real well. I was unsure of the quality of the copy's handle because I have never handled a bare one. My 192t gave...
I am trying to diagnose why the intake boot on my 90% Farmertec MS200T melted. My Initial though was that the AM boot is not to spec, but now I am wondering if the tight fit between the piston and cylinder is causing excessive heat.
As I was disassembling the cylinder to delete the base gasket...
I could use a little help and will happily pay a fair price if anyone has the left side of a 200T top handle. This is the big piece with the air box. I have all linkages/controls and switches. I also have the right side piece. The part number I see doesn’t google well and Stihl recognizes it as...
Nice MS200T pho for sale. I have a couple others already. This one didn’t get run much. Couple cracks in plastic clutch cover and dirty in the cooling fins. I’ll include a new trigger switch. $575 obo plus shipping.
Hi everyone,
I have a MS200T which is an awesome saw as you know! I'm having an aggravating problem though. It starts fine revs fine cuts fine, up until about 2 min into a cut then bogs down and if you nurse the trigger and shake a bit you may keep running but once it starts to do that its...
Want some extreme top handle saws. Have MS200T and Echo cs341 stock which are good saws but wanting even more speed/power out of a 35cc. I’ve seen some on YouTube that really scream. I may modify mine but if you’ve already done the work even better. On a side note: 50cc and under ported saws are...
I tore down a buddy's 200T far enough to replace the crank seals and pressure test. I installed aftermarket metal rimmed seals. They went in well. Oiled bearings, seal surface. Put it all back together and now it's very stiff to turn over. Turned fine before. Put oil in the piston, no...
look at the link below, every thing from ancient Mac's as well as Sachs (Sach 110 worth anything?) see something you like let me know I can bid and ship for you. Serious no BS'ers only as If I bid and win I have to buy. shipping would be USPS from my base to you so shipping is cheap. There...
Have a full setup for the MS200T. Saw runs good, I am sure it has a AM carb on it as I couldn't get the OEM one to run right. $570 for everything listed plus shipping. PayPal F&F
Saw is setup as rear handle currently. Kit is essentially brand new.
All the parts to go back to top handle...
I'm in the middle of replacing the cylinder and piston in an MS200T that got gas with no oil. The saw has very low hours, and is in fantastic shape, other than a badly scored cylinder.
I have never worked on a saw before, things seem straightforward so far, but a couple things concerned me...
