Evening. I'm looking for someone with a Stihl 026 crank for the dimension of the stick out on the flywheel side. How far dewie stick out?
Thanks for any help with that dimension.

Not sure how accurate you need, but the threads are m8x1 from memory and there are about 8 threads I can count so the threaded section is about 8mm long. Plus the unthreaded section which is about 1/4 of the threaded length so I’d say the whole length is 1cm.

Alternatively, the FW bearing ID is 15mm.
That should make it about 1/3 wider than the section you want measured, which visually looks about right.

Thanks VER. I counted 7 threads on that crank, then you have the lead in, so 8 threads is right there on the money. My guess was 11mm from the edge of the taper to the end of the threaded section including a 3mm undercut at the taper end of the threaded section. Was hoping someone would have a saw or a crank handy to throw a scale on, but I'm good with what we came up with. Have a good one. 👍
