026 cylinder kit.

Oh well. I went and bought a cylinder kit for my 026 off scare-bay, i have a non-pro saw but thought i'd upgrade the cylinder kit too a pro so i purchased the decomp valve and cylinder kit. What i want to know is, if this is ok as i little to no experience with the stihl saws. I asked the seller but he never answered yet. Thanks.

Yes, its OK. I've done it on a couple of 026's and its just fine. The hard part was finding a decomp valve and a socket wrench that would fit it into the hole, as there is not a lot of room in the cylinder head around the decomp valve. Pop out the rubber plug on the plastic cover and you are in business.
