Took apart a couple of 028's and found this on the pistons. The marks aren't to deep. My question is would you just put new rings clean them abit and try to use or just replace them?

028 piston

Thats what i told the owner, to ditch these and buy golf pistons to save some cash. As it is i am not charging for my time/labour. The guy don't have alot of income so i am doing him a favour on both these two old 028's. I threw in an 026 coil in one and a good used piston i traded for a 4hp roto tiller engine i had lying around and removed the points/capacitor, the saw runs much better. I think he'll just settle for one working and the other as a parts saw. Thanks for the second/third opinions.
