029 / 039 Cylinder Interchange

I stumbled into an 029 with a scorched cyl / piston. I can never resist rebuilding these things - any body know if an 039 cyl is a straight bolt on to the 029. I know stroke is the same - just not sure if I will run into any issues with fit on plastic housing, etc. I don't expect there are problems with interchange - just looking for confirmation. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah it will bolt up fine, piston& cylinder

not sure about the carb, i put a used 029 cyl kit on a 039 along with the 029 carb..

I guess the 039 then got demoted to a 029. There would be nothing left to make it a 039.

its what i had used, he was happy as a pig in ???? i fixed it cheap.
