029 carburetor

Hey all, just curious if the carb for my 031 is compatible with my 029.. trouble shooting my 029 and would love to know if I can swap it to hear the 029 run. Thank you for your time and help!

Welcome to AS, nope 10 - 20 years separate those saws, everything is different.

What is the issue with the 029? You should be able to put a squirt of fuel in the carb and get a vroom out of it at least. If not, your problem is likely elsewhere. So give us some details, as it may just be flooded possibly as well.
