I just put a carb kit in and it solved the no fuel to the carb problem, yeah.
But now I am flooding out. I do not have any literature on the carb or saw. What is the initial setting for the high and low and idle screws? What is the setting for the needle valve lever? Thanks, and I wll obtain a manual, but I need to cut some wood now.

I have adjusted the carb to spec and I still get fuel coming out of the carb ie backwards. I'm going to try to lean it out with the mixture screws but if that fails, then should I try another carb or dig deeper into this one? Perhaps the pressure test of the fuel system?
thanks
How can one cylinder be so frustrating?

What are your your needle settings? If the carb is assembled correctly, and the metering arm height is correct, it will start and run at 1 turn out for both H and L. Don't chase a bad carb by adjusting your mixture...

Check the order of the diaphragms and gaskets - it is different on the pump and metering sides of the carb.

The C3A carb rebuilds are usually 100%...

What do you mean by "fuel coming out backwards"?
