So I should have started a new thread rather than adding to...
I have everything to re-build the 044(except time), or so I thought. I got a Farmtec case splitter

In retrospect, I guess I should have gotten this one?

So how do you guys "seat" the crankshaft into the new bearings, do you all use the installer tool I have seen, but seem to only be on ebay & Aliexpress that I have seen so far?
I do have a hydraulic press, but that doesn't seem to be the best way I'm thinking. Is there another way, or am I going to be buying another tool...not that it's a bad thing, but I was wondering from you veterans how you do this?
