They're as hard to change as any other saw. Got to get all the stuff off, then split the case.

The real question is: can you get the bearings? The clutch side is NLA from Stihl and I couldn't find it aftermarket. The flywheel side was still available a year ago at around $30.

Now, I think the 056 bearing will work, but I have not verified this myself. The inner and outer race diameters are the same, it's just the inner race is taller. And that may cause problems with the clutch.

Regarding the 32" bar, are you using it for a specific job or are you buying it because you can? To answer your question, sure the 045 can run it. It is a pretty strong saw.
