064 spark problem

I am having a problem with an 064. The coil has good spark until I hook it up to the plug then I loose about 3/4 of it. The coil when it was pulled and tested with an OHM meter it tests at 12K. HELP this thing is driving me nuts. Thanks.

sounds like a candidate for a new spark plug.

I tried 3 differant new NGK

Could the resistance from the plug be causing the coil to act up?

Got it!!! It was the coil. The spark plug was actually killing the bad coil. This is the first time I or any one I talked to has seen anything like this. The fact that it tested out on the OHM meter ok and with a spark tester but then to cut out with the slightest amount of resistance was just strange.
