Found a new home for the saw!! Thanks for all the I interest!

I bought this saw about a year ago just to have a big saw. But have since decided that I would rather have a different saw. Putting it up for sale. Starts and runs doesn't idle worth a crap til warm but runs. Not saying by any means it's a perfect saw just seeing what's out there. Would love to trade for a project and alittle cash to work on that project. Send me ur offers. Sorry I am a cream sickle only kinda guy. Only dealer I have around.

Just saying that you might want to do some clarifying before you post something for sale the same day you joined. Also what is your price?

Sorry forgot to mention. I was a member for about 2 years a year ago went over seas and worked for a year. All the while lost my passwords and named for the forum. I am not really sure what its worth and that's y I am seeing what I can get for it. I payed 100 bucks but I think it's probably worth more just from looking around. Lots have changed in the last year here.

if every other offer falls through and you decide to accept a husky. i got a 61 which runs good but could use a ring. just a high hour saw with a large ring end gap. bottom end is tight though. it's actually a good running saw and cuts like a hot damn.

i would be interested as well what kind of saw are you looking for ? i have a few you may be interested in. i also have cash

Not sure if this sold yet or not, but FWIW I gave $375 for my 064 with a 28" bar and 404 chain. It was a fresh rebuild with an 066 top end. Still runs and cuts like a champ. It was a great deal.

With yours, it mostly depends on what's wrong with it. I bought an 038 Mag once that was supposed to run good. Turns out the bearings in the case were bad. It wouldn't idle worth a crap unless you had the idle turned WAY up on it because it was leaking vacuum so bad, and the fly wheel was actually making slight contact with the ignition coil. I got my money back on that deal.

If you gave $100 for it and someone is willing to double your money (which would include paying shipping), I'd say that's a pretty good deal reasonable deal.

Also, its always good to show a picture of the bottom of the saw. While that has nothing to do with the number of hours it has run, it does say how many times the saw has slid around in a truck bed which always seem to be directly proportional to the amount of use it's seen. If the bottom is in reasonable shape, as are the P&C, then its probably a carb issue which isn't hard to fix. If there's no paint left on the bottom of the saw, then it could simply be worn out and need a serious rebuild.
