Ha! Reminds me of a vintage airplane my wife restored over several years... a
1931 Pietenpol Air Camper. It was taken down to a zillion parts, restored and put back to full airworthiness and flying status, but the Smithsonian REALLY didn't want us to fly it... apparently there is a high incidence of crash and burn "first time out" on old rare planes. Screw it, too much work to NOT see it fly... It was flown - 10 feet of the ground, no turns, for the length of a 10,500 foot runway, then hung in the "Museum of the Rockies" for all to see (ignore) forever...
Go make chips fly with that baby!
