well, as i sit here on this saturday moring, trying to psych myself up to run a chainsaw in the 98°/98% relative humidity that we will have today, i have reflected back on a few things i have learned in time it has taken me to reach1000 posts.

- there are a lot of awfully nice people here
- there are a lot of knowledgeable people here
- there are lots of very funny people here
- there are lots of variations of CS, especially the older ones
- there are lots of brands of old saws
- there are lots of deals on CL
- there are lots of WTs on CL
- there are lots of overpriced saws on Ebay
- there is no one that knows CS stats like Niko
- there are times that even Spacey contributes worthwhile comments
- there are lots of people who can not spell or use the language correctly
- there are lots of people who love the 361
- there are an equal amount who think the 361 is overrated
- there is nothing that gets a stihlhead going like a little stihl-bashing
- there is nothing that gets a huskyhead going like a little husky bashing
- there is nothing that gets a husky/stihl head going like suggesting Dolmar as an option
- there is no cure for CAD, only temporary innoculations
- there is nothing (almost) as satisfying as a day in the woods with a few CSs
- there is nothing like more power and lighter weight
- there is no replacement for pro-style construction

- THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THE SMELL OF TWO-STROKE IN THE MORNING

thanks for all of the help.

i'm sorry to everyone whom i have offended.

ok, back to my regulary scheduled CS education channel!!!!

My experience thus far has been similar, lots of good information, lots of fun and lots to think about. For all of us - it's when we think we know everything that we truly become dangerous. Education is a lifelong process, AS makes it fun!:)

That's all pretty much been my experience here too.

BTW Neal- Thank you for the Clinton D4-1 parts saw. It's a good unit and will be a good builder project.

For all you guys that haven't dealt with Neal yet, he's a good egg. He sent me a freebie Clinton project saw.
