I've decided to sell my newly acquired and top-end rebuilt 395. When I bought it, it had a bad air leak, turned out to be a split in the intake boot.
It has a new oem piston (still have the old one), new intake boot, new air filter cover ,new decomp button and comes with the original oem flippy caps. Mahle cylinder.
Compression was 160 before teardown. Rebuild comp is hard to get a top number, My elbow and starter assembly does not like it. Squish band was .040 something before base gasket delete, now it's .028'ish iirc. Compression is now around 187 psi.
