Wits end.Used Husqvarna 1998 261. Replaced oil pump with used, reseated oil tubes numerous times,new worm gear, new total 18 inch bar oil hole slightly opened to better match oiler slot.Blew out oil lines,cleaned oil tank.made sure vent is open,plastic pipe inside for vent could be plugged?Unlikely as air was introduced into it and it pressurizes the tank and comes back out the stubby pipe for the vent.It seems to pump OK with bar off,Have run it with out the stainless guard,Pumps when clutch is spun by a drill.Cleaned out pump,looks perfect.Occasionally it will pump oil around bar and then seemingly stop.Maybe the pumps are just wore out?It certainly doesnt look like the purchased pump was run much.Have tried various weight oils also.No change I have noticed.Are these pumps inherently weak? I even ground a slot for the guard to vent at the top edge of the clutch case.Gotta fix as this saw runs like a bat outta hell for what it is.
