Want to Buy 285cd still out there?

a member had a 285cd husky "nice but might need crank bearings" I think from Canada is it still out there?

As I said in my thread it has been sold to a gentleman from Manitoba "Farmer Boy". I think he's planning on milling with it.

Not to rub salt in the wounds but it was a very nice 285 I mean cosmetically....I think you'd be hard pressed to find one as nice as it was.

It seemed like nice condition and was suprised to see it so deepin the trading post.....i have beenlurking for a 044 for my next build but a 285 has got me a bit. I have been focused on work and sugaring seasonbut i will probibly take some maple cash and buy somthing to work on....

Ya the only reason I didn't keep bumping it was because there wasnt much insterest in it. And I wasn't sure if I wanted to convert it to a 2100 or not.

Is there much demand for a 285cd? I know of a supposedly very clean one that has been sitting for ten years. Not familiar at all with these saws.
