We'll keep the coffee on for you...

Gonna b there carl, I will come up friday morning. Im not sure on stayin sat nite yet. Prolly gonna have to leave after festivities on sat because of work.

Great. We'll haul some logs and mill some 8X8s...

Well guys, it tears me up something fierce, but I just won't be able to make it. I'm flying back from travel for work on Saturday instead of Friday. Soonest I could be to Carl's place is sometime Saturday night. I talked to Masiman, and apparently he has his 25th high school reunion that day or something, so he's out. Hope y'all have a great time and post plenty of videos....

Hey guys...I'm going to be off the computer for the next 5 days. Taking my first wife Ginger to Cancun for her birthday. I'll check back in on Tuesday pm. I'll be heading out to WV on Wed or Thur. Looking forward to hearing from you all when I get back to town...

where is this thing at i got to figure out how long of a drive it would be

Look up Barnum, WV on Google maps. It is 20 miles south of Cumberland, MD and West of Keyser, WV. I can give you exact directions if you decide to come but if you have GPS Barnum, WV will get you there. Our place is just a 1/4 mile before you get To Barnum, which is on the North Branch of the Potomac River.

See you there?

As said before there is a small cabin to stay in and lots of camping sites so come early stay late...

small world

Huh...I work at Mt. Storm Power Station which is 30 miles from Barnum.

Just a little hop, skip and a jump from Carl...I'm near Winchester, 1/2 mi. N of the new power line...

Bad news: can't make it
Good news: MS 460 coming tomorrow.

I go to Winchester all the time. In fact I'll be there Monday to take the wife to the doctor.

It does sound interesting (even though I have no idea as to what goes on at a GTG). The bad thing is WV Fall turkey season opens Saturday morning, and after that I'm at the mercy of the wife.

We show off our saws, cut cookies, laugh, eat, cut more cookies, take each other's saw apart, hide saws, climb trees, etc.

If Demi shows up again and impersonates Elvis, it'll be a great time.

Yup we can see Mt Storm's stacks from the top of the hill. Ya otta come and meet the guys. Wife saw a flock of 10+ turkeys on the property two weeks ago. At the last GTG some of the guys got photos of a black bear.

You can go here link and see pics and videos from the last GTG. There's lots more days to go turkey hunting and only one GTG so close to you.

If you decide to come just head down the road to Barnum and the driveway to the GTG will be marked with a GTG sign.

Hey guy's, wanted to bump this up to try to nail down who's coming for carl. He should be back in town sometime this week. Ryan

I'm back - had a great time in Cancun and ready to chainsaw. I'll be heading to the farm tomorrow late so if anybody needs precise driving instructions let me know and I'll PM them. Otherwise just head to Barnum and you'll see the GTG sign.

Ryan...See you on Friday.

We'll miss you Mikey. BTW - Does your RA like Iron City?

I use it to clean the bar and chain...

Shame I can't make it buzz...I'd love for you to help me break in my new 460....going one evening next week to see a friend of mine, suck up an old Homie.....I'll make sure to send you a pic.

You could ship it to Carl and we'd be happy to take care of it for you. Afterwards we'll send it back, purring like a mountain lion.

Mikey...actually I'm going right by your place on the way to the farm this evening. I'll make a short detour and pick up the 460 and take it to Buzz for his approval...Oh yeah, I'll pick up the RA as well. I didn't get a chance to run it last GTG. Make sure it is gassed up...:greenchainsaw:

You da man Carl. Probably rates two cases of Iron City.

Well, I'm back from the shop getting my saws ready for the GTG and thought about this more.

Mikey, you should definitely NOT let the RA find out about 460 - at least until it gets broke in and a little dirty. I made the same mistake with my Super EZ when I bought the 361. Took me a full year to get the EZ running and cutting right again. Had to overhaul the carb, new bar and of course a couple Stihl chains so it would feel more equal. Also had to restore those two original EZs so the Homie's would have the edge as well as buy an Echo 306 and the O&R Mustang just so there would be a couple smaller saws and the EZ could feel a little more superior.

Yep, definitely let Carl pick up that 460.

Of course, he could pick up the RA while YOU break in the 460.

It does sound like a good time, and thanks for the invite. The turkey hunting is only happening in the morning after that I'm at the mercy of the wife and daughter. They've already made plans for me. I hope it doesn't rain too much on you guys.
