2XX series bottom end

I am doing my first bottom up build on a 2 series saw. I am just wondering on the non pto side, should I put the crank in first then put the seal in or the other way around. Got the new bearing on the crank already just cleaning the halves now. Hope everyone had a merry Xmas.

I'm no expert. But my thinking is put both sides together and get them bolted together, center the crank and then put the seals in.

Yep....that's how I would do it too......

Seals would be a second step after assembling the cases.

Be careful getting the seal over the step on the crank.
