well back to 338 issuess, i have 2-335 and 2-338 . this querry pertains to the exaust on the new 338, in a old threat i thaught some one said that there was a creramic deflector on the exaust on my 338s there is no deflectorat all this makes for a verry warm hand to say the least,
You can only switch hands so often since i use the rubbberd palmed gloves thry get hot .
Is there a manufactues fiix for this or what, why did they take out that deflector in the first place.
Any info would be great.

it has that shield,
What sounds interesting is that they mention a tubed mufffler, If that vents down ward that would be great,

I would take of the deflector on my 2-335's but i am tryying to sell the, if ay body wants one.
the 338's cali speacil looks like a good price, save up and get one.

I'm pretty sure it's the same muffler without the spark arrestor screen. Using the old deflector would help, and considering they're only about $4.00 it would be worth a try.
