I have a decent little 346XP OE I purchased from an AS member back in March. The saw idles well, runs strong, has an new OEM piston and top cover, oils well, and has a chain brake. It's an impressive little saw!

What year is it? Why are you selling it, they are great little saws?

nmurph is correct. According to the serial number, the saw was built in 2006 during week 45.

I'm selling because I've got my eye on another saw. CAD strikes again...

Which is faster, ported, OE or ne ???

Bout the same ???

I know the OE gives up 5cc, stroke the same, and p&c are interchangeable???

Not sure if you mean faster as higher max revs or as faster cutting through wood. Either way, it's my first saw so I have no good answer.

BUT, logically to me, the NE is more than 10% bigger displacement - all from a bigger bore. So, I don't think one is likely to have a higher max RPM than the other - if anything the NE may actually lose a few RPM due to having a heavier reciprocating mass. I think the NE should cut faster than an OE in the same wood, same state of tune and same porting every time because it IS more than 10% bigger.

Hi folks,

I got the saw and it is every bit as good as I expected - just like the pictures. It was well packed and got to me in 3 or 4 days. I call that fast shipping. I haven't run it yet as I need a bar. I did pull the muffler and the piston and ring look like new, just as Matt (xeriminox) said.

I think I got a great saw at a VERY fair price. He even threw in a few bonuses (couple of good used chains and some Husky 2 cycle mix).

He's a good, honest seller and I'd buy from him again in a heartbeat.

Cheers,
Glenn
